SAKKIES CHILLI SAUCE
The journey began by chance in 2021 at Masakona Farm in Tshimbupfe, when the farm produced an abundant harvest of peppers. To avoid waste, making chilli sauce became a way of preserving the surplus. During a visit, Shoni drew inspiration from traditional recipes passed down by her grandmother, the late Masakona Maiwashe. She tried one of these recipes and the outcome was a distinctive, flavorful chilli sauce.
What started as a simple preservation method soon grew into a passion and that passion has since blossomed into a thriving business.
